Recently I have gotten a better perspective on life. I’ve been handling my time better, and I am making room for the truly important things in my life. In this post, I want to share with you a verse I came across today that sums up what I have found on how to succeed in life.
“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
If we keep God’s Word in our mouths and we meditate in the Word day and night, there’s no way we can help but be successful. I know that is a broad statement, and it may seem like an oversimplification of something as complex as “life”, but you either believe it or you don’t.
The Bible has something to say about everything we face in life, and if we take the time to find it in the Word and get it down in our hearts, we’ll start saying and doing the right things. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks, and life and death is in the power of the tongue.
I hope this encourages you today. Leave a comment if you agree or disagree or have anything else to add.
